IceFire
This book was written by Chris d’Lacey (book #2)
I read Icefire about 1 week ago. This is one of the better novels in the Fire Within books. The book takes place in the life of David Rain. If you haven’t read The Fire Within you shouldn’t read this review. This book is about David, who goes to the Arctic to study global warming. When he gets to the Arctic, he starts a book and he names it White Fire. It is about two bears in the Arctic who get into quite a bit of trouble. Just to warn you this book is pretty much about global warming. First of all, David writes the book about a bear named Ignavar. He is a descendant of the ancient nanukipick (means “great bear”) Ragnar. He gets into trouble with the other descendant of another polar bear, Thoran. Back at home Liz, Lucy, and Zanna (David’s Girlfriend) have a kind of “kid”. Zanna quickened a dragon egg. He technically was supposed to be a boy, but he was bewitched by the evil witch Gwillana to be a dragon with no flame.
What I liked.
Like I said, This was one of the best books in the Fire Within series. It had just as good of grammar and vocab. as the other books. It was so good, I couldn’t put it down.
My Rating.
If I could rate this book out of 10 stars, I would give it a 9.99. (It wouldn’t be fair if I gave it a 10.)

I know that my about page says I’m 64 but that is a bug, I am actually 13 and all my friends in 5- 7 grade have read it so maybe the kind of audience that would read this book are in 5-7th grade. -Japhro
